This is a NRA certified training class taught by NRA certified instructors and satisfies the training requirement to obtain a Florida CWL.
The cost per student is $80 which includes the NRA training materials and use of the shooting range for live fire training. Class will be held in the Dade City Rod and Gun Club Clubhouse, the third Saturday of each month, from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Space in this class is limited. The goal of this program is to provide the participants with a basic knowledge of firearm safety and proper rifle handling skills. The program is approximately 4 hours long and is offered throughout the summer and whenever there is sufficient interest (we need a minimum of eight people to have a successful class).
Cost is $40 per participant and includes the use of a rifle (Ruger 10/22) ammunition, NRA training materials, refreshments, professional instruction and a safe shooting environment. Participants may use their own rifle as long as it is approved, in advance, by the instructor(s).
